IS THERE MORE TO LIFE THAN WHAT I SEE OR EXPERIENCE?
Biblical and Scriptural analysis of the question above!
There is more to life. Take a look!
Colossians 1:25-27 (NASB)
25 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26 that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, 27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
The Christian life is not merely about believing in God, going to church, and being good. It’s uncovering the mystery, which is Christ in you. Its experiencing God in your heart and conscience. Having a faith that is alive and real. Is your faith real?
Colossians 2:2-3 (NASB)
2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
There is a treasure to be discovered in knowing God. There is a world beyond our own, one to be discovered and known. It gives us wisdom and knowledge far beyond our contemporaries.
Ephesians 1:9-10 (ESV)
9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
The purpose of uncovering the mystery and His will is to unite His creation back to him in His kingdom far beyond this world forever.
Deuteronomy 4:29-31 (ESV)
29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
God wants you to desire Him by uncovering the mystery of life by seeking and searching for Him with all your soul. His promise is that you will find Him and uncover the mystery.
Uncovering the mystery is experiencing the living God (Christ) who will dwell within our spiritual anatomy. This allows us to experience a higher dimension of existence.
