Statement of Faith

God: We believe in an all-powerful, all-knowing God who is in sovereign control of all things and has distinct eternal purposes. He is our creator God who always was and always will be. Isaiah 55:8-11, Isaiah 46:9-11, Psalm 33:6, Psalm 147:5  We believe there is one God that exists in three forms: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Spirit. Matt 28:19, Isaiah 9:6, 2 Cor 13:14

Purpose: We believe God’s purposes for Himself are to establish a kingdom not of this world and    occupy this kingdom with a people for Himself.  These are his offspring and heirs. Man’s purpose is to proclaim the excellencies of God and be the action of God on earth. John 18:36, 1 Peter 2:9-10, Col 1:15-16

Man: We believe God created man with His spiritual DNA and in His likeness and image. A part of this likeness is freedom and from this freedom comes man’s desire to go his own way and be his own god. This action separated man from the life of God and became known as the fall of man. Man is corrupt and alienated from the presence of God. Genesis 1:26-27, Isaiah 59:2, Isaiah 53:6, Psalm 14:2-3

Christ: We believe Christ is the Son of the living God, is co-equal with God the Father, yet limited Himself in earthly form. Christ came to reconcile man back to Himself. He stepped out of heaven via human birth and walked for 33 years upon the earth with a Message of redemption for mankind. He was crucified, died, and buried, yet he rose from the dead, conquering death. He then ascended back to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.  Matt 1:23, Phil 2:5-11, John 1:1-4, 2 Cor 5:18-19

Message: We believe Jesus Christ came with a Message. This Message showed that one’s spiritual anatomy is incomplete because it is devoid of the life of God. Jesus stated that unless one is born again spiritually one will never see the kingdom of God.  John 3:1-8, 1 John 5:10-12, Romans 8:9-11

Mystery: We believe the Message of the Christian faith is not merely about believing in God, going to church and being good. It’s about transformation of the heart in which one allows Christ’s Spirit to dwell within them. This is the mystery! Christ through His Spirit can dwell within ones spiritual anatomy. Col 1:25-27, Gal 2:20,

John 7:37-39, Eph 3:14-20, John 14:16-17

Eternal Life: We believe coming to know God intimately is eternal life. Eternal life if spending the rest of eternity in the presence of God, no longer alienated and separated from Him. John 17:1-3, 1 John 5:20,

1 John 5:11

The Bible: We believe the scriptures to be an inspired document that God uses to lead us to truth. The written Word of God works in concert with the Living Word of God to bring us understanding of God and His ways. 1 Thess 2:13, 2 Tim 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21, 2 Tim 4:1-2

Holy Spirit: We believe this is the Spirit of Christ who dwells within us. His presence within us allows us to live in a higher dimension of existence. When we respond to His activity within our soul we will witness miracles of the heart. His life changing presence will transform our very being, preparing ourselves for the kingdom of God.  Romans 8:12-17, John 14:16-17, Romans 8:9, John 14:12, 1 Cor 2:11-12, Titus 3:4-5, John 14:25-26, Romans 8:26-27, Gal 5:16-18, Gal 5:22-25

Design: We believe we are to be a light to the world and a city set on a hill. This means following God’s design for living such as preserving human life that He is creating within the womb and observing marriage between a man and a woman. At the same time, we are to love and respect those of differing opinions.  Matt 5:14-16, Psalm 139:13-17, Matt 19:4-6, Romans 1:24-26, Luke 6:27-33

Mission: We believe God has called us to a mission of outreach. We are to be equipped to present Christ’s Message to the world out of confidence and conviction. We are God’s ambassadors to the world. We are his feet to walk, his hands to touch, and his lips to speak. We are the body and function of God on earth. We are called to reconcile the world back to God (Christ).  2 Cor 5:18-20, Eph 4:11-13, Romans 10:14-15

Isaiah 46:9-11 (NASB)
"Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a far country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.
